The Faculty provides a broad range of both traditional and digital fabrication technologies. In order to gain access to these resources, students will be required to undertake orientation and training held in wood workshop (Rm 208)
Currently the Fabrication Laboratory is organized into 3 main areas
- Wood Workshop/ Laser Cutting/ CNC (Rm 208/208A)
- Concrete Casting (Rm 216)
- 3D Printing (Rm202)
Training will no longer be specific to a particular unit. On completing the workshop safety and orientation session students will be permitted access to all Fab Lab facilities unless otherwise stated.
Incoming students must undertake the workshop orientation to gain access to workshop spaces.
