This advanced video storytelling course will introduce new video storytelling techniques and expand on the ones you already know. For students with story ideas, this course will help build your portfolio. In Fall semester’s Video News Production, we introduced a standard video news production format. Now, we will build upon those foundations and explore advanced filming, editing with pace and rhythm as narrative techniques, using more gear for different vantage points, creating simple motion graphic overlays, using maps, and even exploring stop motion. There will be lots of room for creativity and exploration.
