BECE1005 Risk and Resilience in Early Development [Section 1A, 2024]

This course illustrates risks that potentially compromise a healthy early childhood development, and resilience factors that protect children against and help children to adapt to various developmental risks. Topics covered in this course include theories and models of risk and resilience research, risk and resilience factors in the developmental contexts of a child, risk and resilience factors within individual child, and implications of risk and resilience research such as intervention programmes and policies.
